SafePoint Admin provides a fully-integrated, graphical user interface (GUI) to Safeguard. Simple on-screen controls allow you to administer, implement, and manage Safeguard data security without having to learn complicated command syntax. SafePoint Admin provides a central point of NSK security administration and parallel processing of Tandem security transactions for Tandem NSK  networks. Not just a Windows interface to Safeguard, SafePoint Admin provides value-added features like data encryption of all security transactions, a personnel data facility which integrates employee information with Safeguard user/alias data, and the ability to download security rules into Microsoft Excel spreadsheets.

SafePoint Admin allows security administrators and security implementers to access Safeguard from a PC running Microsoft Windows (Windows XP, Windows 2000, Windows NT, Windows ME, Windows 98, or Windows 95). It provides a link to Safeguard without the frustration of syntax-intensive command interpreters or the overhead of screen-mode terminal processing.  It allows both Safeguard and OSS attributes for users to be handled seamlessly via a single window.   The power, convenience, and user-friendliness of the Windows desktop interface is combined with a high-performance, distributed connection to your entire NSK network to provide a single point of control for Safeguard security.
